Too Much

Too Much

Have you ever felt like you were carrying just too much?

Even when some of the weight is good weight – positive, happy weight – it is heavy, nonetheless.

We are here to remind you that this feeling is universal, you are not alone, and it is normal to feel this way.

We have tried to juggle too much, only to completely lose it over things including, but not limited to:

  • a pint of Talenti gelato
  • a rogue LEGO
  • a well-meaning text message
  • spilled milk (literally)
  • an empty toilet paper roll
  • a lost swim-band
  • purple socks
  • a bug bite
  • in-laws
  • parter
  • children
  • crying

The list is endless. While some of the heavy things are legitimately cumbersome, others seem silly. But, when you’re trying to carry so much at once, and you are barely able to stand up under the weight of it all, anything added to your pile will send everything crashing down. Even when you’re able to outwardly hold it together. Even when you are not.

This is a reminder to take it easy on yourself. To give yourself permission to put things down. Or, to cry over them. To give yourself whatever time, space, and reaction you need. We are here for you.
